Useful tips:

  • You can have up to 20 people in a video call; more than this will require you to schedule a meeting.
  • If you do not have a chat started with the person you wish to call, in the top search bar of Teams you can type /call and then type the person’s name. Pressing enter will then select the person and call them in an audio only call. After the call has started you can then turn on your video.
  • During the call, you will have a number of icons appear in the top right of the screen. They are (from left to right) show the participants button, show conversation button, three dots for the options menu, video on/off toggle button, microphone on/off toggle button, share screen button, and Leave.
Buttons displaying: (from left to right) show the participants button, show the chat button, three dots for the options
  • When selecting the ‘three dots’ you will see the options menu to change the settings during the call .
