How to clean IT equipment

All teaching rooms will have wipes and cleaning solution provided.

  1. Turn off the device you want to clean
  2. Never spray liquids directly onto a device
    • Moisten a cloth with a cleaning solution. The cloth should be damp, but not dripping wet.
  3. Gently wipe the moistened cloth over the surfaces to be cleaned
    • Only clean touch points NOT the monitor screen
  4. Surfaces must be completely dry before you turn on the device
  5. If you have any additional questions please contact us via the IT Service Desk.
