As part of the standard template we issue for SharePoint sites we include text that explains the purpose of each document library.
A modern SharePoint page is made up of page sections and web parts which are the building blocks for your page. You can add text, images, files, video, dynamic content, and more using the web parts listed in this article.
To edit the homepage of your SharePoint site, press ‘Edit’ in the top right corner.
You can create, edit, and customize pages on your site with rich, responsive layouts.
For more information about adding web parts, see Using web parts on SharePoint pages.
