  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Within Microsoft Teams, navigate to the desired Teams site within the Teams section of the app.
  3. Select a channel from the Teams site. (Default channel is named General)

  5. Click ‘Open in SharePoint’.
Teams site channels will each have their own folders within the ‘Documents’ document library.
  6. Right click on the item you want to move then choose ‘Move to’ from the menu.
  7. On the right-hand side, select which SharePoint site you want to move the item to.
  8. Pick a document library from the list.
  9. Choose a folder to move the item to. (optional)
  10. Press ‘Move here’ to complete the process.
After a few moments, the item will be moved.

Please note: Whilst selecting a location to move the item to check ‘Keep sharing with the same people’ if you want to maintain the permissions that have already been applied. This will also notify the users that the item has been moved.
