Much like OneDrive, SharePoint allows you to synchronise files stored in the cloud to your University of Worcester device so that you can work with them directly in your computers file system.
This can be very useful when you need to use non-Microsoft products to work with the files you’re storing in SharePoint. For example, if you want to use Acrobat DC to edit a PDF stored in SharePoint.
Please note: Syncing SharePoint libraries and folders uses the OneDrive sync client. This is pre-installed on University of Worcester devices.
Please see Microsoft’s support article Sync SharePoint files and folders for text based instructions and further information.
If you want to stop syncing a folder or document library, you can manage this from the OneDrive for Business sync app.
