How to add the Ask Toby chatbot directly to Microsoft Teams?

Great news, the IT Service is pleased to announce that our chatbot Toby is now accessible directly via Microsoft Teams. This means you can get IT help and support straight through Teams and Toby will even log a ticket on the IT Service Desk on your behalf if needed.

To access this service, simply:

  • Select the “Apps” icon on the bottom left of the Teams sidebar.
  • Search for “Ask Toby” and select open.
  • Once open, if you want to make Toby more easily accessible in the future, you can right click on the Ask Toby icon within the sidebar and select “pin” to pin the icon in place for future use.

When you use our Ask Toby service, you’ll occasionally be prompted for ratings requests on your experience.

Please fill this out as the chatbot will use this feedback to learn and improve its responses over time.
