Student Account Closure

180 days after finishing your University of Worcester course, your student account will be closed and deleted. To ensure you’re prepared and don’t lose your valuable data here’s what you’ll need to do:

OneDrive

You should move any files you need to your own personal storage. If you don’t already have personal cloud storage, you can register for a Microsoft Account using a personal email address and set up your own OneDrive personal storge (storage limits will apply).

Sign in or Create an account for OneDrive

Emails

Once your account is closed you will no longer be able to access, send or receive emails. If there are any emails you need to refer back to you may want to either:

  • Print specific emails
  • Download and save specific email files to personal cloud storage
  • Forward specific emails to your personal email account

If you have saved any contacts within Outlook, check you have a copy of any contact details.

Microsoft 365 (formally Office 365)

If you have downloaded a copy of Microsoft 365 onto your personal device, you will no longer be provided with a subscription. This means applications like Word and PowerPoint will have limited functionality.

If you wish to continue using these services, you may want to subscribe for a personal Microsoft 365 License: Here

PebblePad

Once you have completed your course, you can convert your PebblePad e-portfolio into a free alumni account. You must only do this once you have finished your course as this process is not reversable. You can view the steps on how to do this via this PebblePad guide: Here
