Access Microsoft Planner

With Planner you and your team can create plans, assign tasks, chat about tasks, and see charts of your team’s progress.

For the full experience, visit the Planner web app.

1. Go to office.com
2. Select Sign In from the top-right corner
3. Enter your University of Worcester credentials
4. Select the App Launcher from the top-left corner
5. Choose Planner from the list of available apps
   
   If you cannot see Planner available as an option, select All Apps from the App Launcher, then select Planner from the list.

Microsoft Planner is available as an integrated app within Microsoft Teams. To add the app, please follow the instructions below:

1. Within the Teams application, select the ellipses menu (…) on the left-hand side
2. Type Tasks by Planner into the Find an app box
3. Select Tasks by Planner and To Do from the search results to add it to Teams
4. To pin the app to your app bar, right-click on Tasks by Planner and To Do then choose Pin

Microsoft Planner can be added as a tab within your Microsoft Teams site.

1. Select a channel within your Teams site
2. From the top of your Teams site channel, select the plus symbol + to add an app
3. Search for Tasks by Planner and To Do then select it from the results
4. You’ll be given the choice of adding and existing plan or creating a new one
   
   Please note that if you create a new planner within a Teams site channel then this Planner will be stored within the associated Microsoft 365 group. All users that have access to that Teams site channel will also have access to Plans contained within them.
