How do I hide my own video in Teams meetings?

Hide your own video

Currently, the user’s video is displayed at the bottom right corner of the meeting screen. This feature allows users to hide their own video during a meeting. This will help reduce distractions during the call while still having your video available for other participants. 

Hide your video

Please note: This option leaves your video visible to other meeting participants

  1. Within the Teams meeting, select the ellipses menu next to your video feed
  2. Choose ‘Hide for me’

Unhide your video

To unhide your video, select your minimised video feed from the bottom-right corner
