The Software Centre contains pre-approved software you can download straight onto your University PC or laptop. Software Centre also keeps your device up to date with the latest Windows updates and security patches.
You can access Software Centre from the ‘Start’ menu of your University PC or laptop.
Self-Service contains pre-approved software you can download straight onto your University Mac. Self-Service also keeps your device up to date with the latest OS updates and security patches.
You can access Self Service from your iMac or MacBook.
Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, along with a set of mobile applications and some optional cloud services.
All full-time staff members with an IT user account have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
Please note: You can only use Adobe apps on two devices simultaneously.
You can also install the Adobe Creative Cloud app via Software Center on Windows devices and Self Service on Apple computers. Once you’ve installed the app you can install your desired Adobe applications such as Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and more.
Staff can install the Adobe Creative Cloud app onto personal devices via the Adobe website. You can install your desired Adobe applications such as Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and more via the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. You will need to sign in with your University of Worcester staff credentials.
