We’re inviting all staff and students to join us for an IT Service Drop-In Morning! 📅 Date: Thursday, 12th December⏰ […]
If you’ve recently joined the University of Worcester as a student but will be studying on our Dudley Campus, you will be given two login IDs, one to access computers and print when you are on the Dudley Campus and another to access online services. The IT Service has put together some useful information to get you started.
You will need to use your Dudley College login ID whenever you want to login to a computer or print on the Dudley Campus, for example in open access areas, the library and computer labs.
It will look something like this 00123456
You can print from any computer, you will be given £2 free credit per quarter, for any additional credit you will need to top up with cash at the IoT Reception or Broadway Library.
To retrieve print jobs, simply scan your Dudley College ID card on the printer. Your card will be automatically registered, but you can also login by using “students\” followed by your Dudley College login ID e.g. students\00123456.
If you have any problems logging into a computer or printing on the Dudley Campus, please use one of the following methods for help:

The first time you login to your University of Worcester student account off-campus, you will be prompted to register for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This provides an extra layer of security on your account.
You will need to register for MFA before you complete your online registration. Please see the guidance below to help you register for this service.
Please note: You will need to keep the Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your device in order to access your account off-campus.
Reset Password:
Provided you have Multi-Factor Authentication on your account you can reset your password via this link https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
Add a second device for MFA:
Setup a second device with the Microsoft Authenticator app so you don’t get locked out of you account.
Ensure you have finished registration on your SOLE page. You will have completed this when you get to the certificate of registration page.
Once you’ve registered you may need to wait 24 hours until you can access to the Blackboard modules.
Our colleagues over in Library Services have created some guidance on Blackboard access:
