Today (February 5), the IT Service Desk software has been upgraded to a new version.
The system brings a range of new services to the University which we’ll be rolling out over the next few weeks. In the meantime, continue to contact us by chat, phone or online as normal.
Things may look a little different in the portal as we add new features so the layout will be slightly different but we’re working hard to make the navigation easier while adding services we think will make your life simpler.
You may notice the link in MyDay or off the website has a new web address, but if you do have an older bookmark don’t worry we’ll redirect you automatically to the new site.
If you already have a support ticket logged with the IT Service, the team will have transferred your tickets to the new system. The team will still handle your request as normal, and you will receive an email notification if your ticket is moved over.
Older historic tickets aren’t visible in the new platform but if you’re concerned something has been missed then get in touch and we’ll take a look.
The new system allows a lot more functionality, meaning we’ll be faster to resolve your queries and be able to support all of our staff and students more effectively. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the IT Service Desk.
