Office 365

Office 365 is a cloud-based platform that gives you access to a suite of powerful apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. These apps are pre-installed on your University of Worcester device and are licensed via your University of Worcester staff account. Word is used for creating documents, Excel for spreadsheets, PowerPoint for presentations, and Outlook for email and calendar management. You can also install these apps onto up to five personal devices, making it easy to work from anywhere, on any device.


How to access

University devices

Office 365 apps are pre-installed on University-owned laptops. You will need to sign into Office using your University of Worcester staff credentials to licence the apps.

  1. Open Word, Excel or PowerPoint
  2. Sign in using your University of Worcester staff credentials when prompted.
Personal devices

Office 365 can be installed on up to five personal devices. You will need to sign into Office using your University of Worcester staff credentials to licence the apps.

The Microsoft 365 Portal

The Microsoft 365 Portal is the online hub for accessing all Microsoft applications and tools in one place. Through the portal, you can access online versions of Microsoft apps and tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Calendar, OneNote, and Teams.

You can also download and install the desktop version of Microsoft Office 365 from the portal, as well as access your OneDrive for storing and sharing files.

In addition, the portal allows you to search for apps, people, sites, files, and more, making it easy to find what you need quickly.
