Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot is an Online AI powered tool that helps with your work tasks. Users enter a prompt in Copilot and Copilot responds with AI-generated information. The responses are in real-time and can include internet-based content and work content that users have permission to access.

Microsoft Copilot has two versions (Work and Web)

  1. Copilot Web: This version is the free version which is designed to help you with a wide range of tasks. Whether you need information, support or assistance with productivity-related activities.
  2. Copilot Work: This version is a paid version which is has all the benefits are the CoPilot Web version but also intergrates with all the 365 apps (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook etc) and also University of Worcester’s Microsoft 365 environment.

Accessing Microsoft Copilot Chat

  1. Visit the Office 365 website then select Sign In from the top-right corner.
  2. Log in with your Unversity of Worcester credentials
  3. Select Copilot from the toolbar on the left-hand side

Accessing Microsoft Copilot through 365 Apps

Microsoft Outlook

  • Open the Microsoft Outlook App
  • Select Copilot from the toolbar on the left-hand side

Microsoft Teams

  • Open the Microsoft Teams App
  • Select Copilot from the toolbar on the left-hand side

Mircosoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint

  • Open either Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint
  • Select Home from the top toolbar
  • Select Copilot
