Description
The University operates many essential systems required for business operations to function. Whilst the configuration and training for these solutions usually fall under the remit of a specific department or school, staff requiring access to those systems will usually need to request this via the IT Service Desk.
Such a request will then be actioned by IT Service directly or assigned to the administrator for that area, for example Blackboard access requests are submitted via the IT Service Desk but are then processed by the Technology Enhanced Learning Unit.
If a request is submitted that the IT Service Desk is not responsible for assigning access to, then advice will be provided on the best route to set this up.
It should be noted that certain requests for access permissions needs to be placed by the team/school/departments authorised administrator(s).
