IT Service can offer dedicated events support from our Learning Spaces Team for occasions that require bespoke setups involving audio visual equipment.
Notice is needed to arrange this support. Suitable scenarios for this service include as conferences, one off/bespoke lectures/seminars, as well as fixed events in the academic calendar such as open days and graduation.
Common equipment provided for such events includes portable display screens, PAs, microphones and webcams.
The team will work with you to plan which services and equipment are most suitable for your requirements, perform the setup and takedown of the equipment selected and be available on the day to make any tweaks or fix any unexpected issues that may occur.
Support for this service can take place outside of core business hours but will need to be discussed during planning so we can confirm that there is resource available. This is partly why providing notice is so important.
