Description
IT Service supports the University’s Print & Copy provision. Staff can print to University Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) to print, scan, and photocopy. This system uses a single queue called “University Print” which staff can submit print jobs to. Staff can release print jobs from any MFD on any campus site.
The system also has a Webprint capability to submit print jobs from home as well as remote or mobile devices, which can then be released on campus within 72 hours. The Client Computing Service team are responsible for the support to these devices including the arrangement of 3rd party servicing and their consumables.
They can also clear jams, resolve failed print jobs and fix connection issues. Please note that except in exceptional circumstances, desktop printers are not permitted for use by staff.
MFDs also have excellent scanning capabilities that allow you to scan to your University OneDrive or email account.
