Description
IT Service procures the University’s mobile phones for staff and sets them up for new users. We also can support phone upgrades and decommission devices once they are end of life.
Basic support is offered regarding sim card setup and rudimentary app installation. The University has two stock models of one Apple IOS and one Google Android device available. More expensive devices will require a business case.
IT Service performs mobile device management on supported devices to provide security functions regarding locking and wiping a device if lost or stolen. The University has set tariffs and data limits for it’s mobile phone contract’s please see the IT Procurement for more information.
